Had a blast playing old school games! Donkey Kong Country, Mario Kart but they have newer games too. Drinks were great, and the are very clean and sterilized. Support your local business, beat boredom and have a blast. Best kept hidden gem in Worcester.
Savepoint Twvern was so much fun! I went there with my family of 6! We all played various games! We even ate some good food! The wait staff was so nice. They kept helping us find games.
Pros: 1) This is a great spot to hang out in the college area of Worcester. 2) The crowd is diverse, from couples like us on dates to groups of friends, both guys and girls. 3) I'm not quite sure why all the pictures for this place show the same two or three dishes as the menu was pretty extensive with plenty of bar food options. 4) The drinks were surprisingly good and the chicken quesadilla we ordered was fresh and a decent portion. Cons: 1) There is some parking on premise, but it is limited so you might have to find street parking on a busy Friday or Saturday night.
Cool place to go, people are nice, however always ask if they have a tournament or something going on before you pay the cover and controller charges. I payed the cover charges before I was informed they would need that particular gaming station for a tournament. Which forced my friend and I to get kicked off after only barely playing. Just wish we were informed, sort of ruined our gaming experience because of lack of timely knowledge.
Honestly a great experience! Food and drinks are phenomenal and unlike a lot of videogame bars that tend to focus on the bar aspect, this place is centered around the games! The atmosphere is great with a pretty evenly mixed demographic, so unless you go on ladies night there's a pretty even men/women ratio. After 9pm it's 21+. Definitely will be going back!
