Ducked into Denny's with the kids to grab a bite and get out of the heat on a rather hot day... well, we get in, they seat us, after I'm done sitting my kids down, and take a seat myself I realize it is almost as hot in the restaurant as it was outside. I ask the waitress what is going on with the A/C? She tells me it's been broken for years! Ughhhhh. All the money this restaurant makes and they can't fix the A/C?? I felt horrible for our waitress running around in that heat, literally sweat dripping down her face. I asked for very little and gave a great tip. I really hope they get it fixed. I'm surprised people haven't walked out on that job!
Great food and nice staff. They abided by the laws with no problem. Our waitress was a little aloof but I think she may have been new, besides the lack of interaction/attention, it was a good experience.
Service was slow. Took 45 mins to get our food. The food itself was not that good. Portions are very small. We had great scenery facing the sink that was running for an hour straight. I don't think I'll be returning.
Usually pretty good, but today the food was horrible. Half of it was cold, the other half warm. And me and my girlfriend both didn't feel all that great afterwards. We honestly think we got food poisoning. Her case far worst than mine, but we both are still feeling it HOURS later. They also had no milk, or cranberry juice. Kind of odd 🤔
Me and my boyfriend just bought a spicy sizzling skillet to share. We got extra tortillas and queso. It came with no extra tortillas and with about half the amount of food we're used to (and came with one giant tortilla under the entire meal). So we called and the guy who answered was amazing, at about 12:15 am at 11/24/2020. He told us the cook had gotten multiple complaints that night about the food he was making and that he looked like he was falling asleep over the food. This is the third time we've gotten less than adequate food from dennys at night and definitely the last that we're going to try. Good luck on the cook maintaining a job, but the man on the phone did an amazing job on customer service and is an asset to the company.
